About Kithnos Seafood Market
Kithnos Seafood Market is a seafood market in Rochester, New York. It is listed at 1775 N Clinton Ave, Rochester, NY 14621, which places it among the local businesses of Rochester that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Rochester with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in New York may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. Typical hours are 9 AMβ7 PM. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Kithnos Seafood Market at (585) 342-4160; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 500 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded seafood markets in Rochester.
Rochester is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Rochester peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Best and only place to get a fish fry! For the amount of money you spend, the fish is huge! Also, some of the sweetest guys we have ever dealt with! They are always smiling and willing to help in anyway!

The fish I bought today was of low quality. It tasted like bagged frozen fish one could buy from ALDI'S, Walmart or a wholesale club. Although it was hot it looked like it was cooked in old grease and the fish was dry. Do better for your customers Kithnos and take page out of the book of Captain Jim's fish market on East Main and Winton. They serve only quality fresh fish all the time.

So first things first. They're advertised prices are not correct. Everything in the store is $1 or so more than what they're online prices are. The people that he knows are always very friendly very nice you can call ahead or just show up in order. The problem is is it's just not worth it. They charge about $18 for a fish fry and it's not bad but the problem is is that it's not fresh enough that when you get the bag take it home and I only live about a 10 minute 12 minute drive played it up everything is soggy n lukewarm. You can go to Union Tavern and spend an additional $2 and get hot crispy food!. Saving two bucks is not worth soggy fish. Tonight we also tried their New England clam chowder and lobster bisque. The best was really good and much thicker than what I've had elsewhere. The clam chowder was... not as good, it was a bit thin and I would not recommend it. Between the prices for our dinner being about $12 more than what they should have been based on their online prices, soggy fish and thin chowder... It wasn't the worst meal I've ever had but it was definitely not worth $55. Especially when we could have gone to a place like Union Tavern and got in about the same am

My wife and I stopped in tonight to see what type of fish was available. We ended up getting some fresh grouper to take home. Definitely didn't disappoint. The fish was fresh, the price was better than expected and the customer service was great. We will definitely be back.
